Royal jelly - the most valuable product in the hive
Royal jelly is a highly nutritious, thick, creamy secretion with a white to pale yellow color produced by young nurse bees. It is the main food of bee larvae in the first days of their life and the only food of the queen bee throughout her life. Thanks to it, the queen bee lives many times longer than other bees.
CompositionA: Royal jelly is rich in nutrients as follows :
-Water: About 60-70%.
-Proteins and amino acids: High in essential proteins.
-Lipids (fats): Including the unique fatty acid 10-HDA (10-hydroxy-2-decenoic acid), which has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
-Vitamins: Rich in B vitamins (especially pantothenic acid - B5), biotin, vitamin E, etc.
-Minerals and trace elements: calcium, copper, iron, phosphorus, potassium, silicon.
Health benefits
Royal jelly is considered a „superfood“ with a wide range of actions:
-Immunostimulant: Strengthens the immune system and strengthens the general condition of the body.
-Against fatigue and stress: increases energy, performance and vitality.
-Hormone regulation: Helps with menopausal symptoms and PMS (premenstrual syndrome).
-Cardiovascular health: can help regulate blood pressure and reduce bad cholesterol.
-Repair and regeneration: stimulates wound healing and improves skin condition (stimulates collagen).
-Anti-aging: has antioxidant properties that protect cells from damage.
This makes it one of the richest organic products in the hive.
Forms of admission
The most effective form of royal jelly intake remains fresh (raw) royal jelly, which requires refrigerated storage. It can be mixed with honey in a ratio of 10 g royal jelly in 700 g honey. This preparation does not require refrigeration because the honey is a preservative.
When is it accepted?
It is most often recommended to consume in the morning on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before a meal, for maximum absorption. Placing under the tongue (sublingual) allows the substances to be absorbed more quickly.
Important! Despite its many benefits, royal jelly can cause allergic reactions in sensitive people (itching, difficulty breathing, digestive problems). Consultation with a doctor is recommended, especially if you are taking blood pressure medication.
It should also not be consumed by children under 3 years of age !
It is kept refrigerated and taken in small amounts.
